The Cottage Mama Facebook Pattern Group

The Cottage Mama Facebook Pattern Group. www.thecottagemama.com

I just wanted to write a quick post to let you know that I’ve started a new The Cottage Mama Facebook Pattern Group. This is a group dedicated to discussing The Cottage Mama Sewing Patterns as well as my new book, ‘Sew Classic Clothes for Girls’. This is a place where you can go to ask questions about any patterns you are working on, share pictures of your beautiful creations made from The Cottage Mama Patterns, connect with other women who have a passion for sewing, talk about fabrics and trims and so much more. I am the admin. of the group so I am in there to help answer any questions you may have, give advice and just better connect with all of you.

The Cottage Mama Fan Page is still the same and will continue to operate in the same manner, but I’m hoping this group will open up greater dialogue between all of us. I love you guys so much and I am excited to get to know you even better! The group is marked as ‘closed’ but if you apply, I will approve you. I just don’t want to have it open because many of you are sharing pictures of your children and I want a little safety from weirdos that might try to join.

I can’t wait to meet you and I hope you’ll join us over in The Cottage Mama Facebook Pattern Group!

UPDATE (8/17/16): As of today, we have almost 20,000 women as part of the group. Come on over and join this wonderful group of supportive, encouraging women who love to sew!

I just came across your book on the net. I really like your classic patterns you offer, so that girls still look like a little girl. But my daughter is 10y and a size 10-12. I really like to sew for her, and like her to have the classes look. Will you be offering patterns for preteens? I would like to see more patterns for big girls.
I also like vintage patterns, I make costumes in different time periods, such as madrigal, colonial, Regency, etc. Finding easy to sew patterns for historical costumes are also hard to find. American Girl used to offer patterns and the outfits, they no longer do either. That is something I also would be interested in.
Im sew glad I found your website and blog.
    Thank you
