Guest Blogging at Project Run and Play: Creating a Signature Style
Today I’m guest blogging over at Project Run and Play discussing how to ‘Create a Signature Style‘. If you’ve never checked out Project Run and Play, you must! Think Project Runway for children’s clothing. I was lucky enough to compete in Season 1 and I’m so excited to be back. The blog has under-gone quite the transformation since the amazing Elizabeth and Liz of Simple Simon & Co. have taken it over this last season.

Lindsay Wilkes is the owner and designer behind The Cottage Mama. She creates timeless, vintage inspired sewing patterns for children’s clothes. She is also a fabric designer for Riley Black Designers / Penny Rose Fabrics, author of the book ‘Sew Classic Clothes for Girls’ and can be seen teaching nationwide and online in her video series ‘Lessons with Lindsay’ sponsored by Baby Lock Sewing and Embroidery machines.

Just found a link to your post about using the Go! Baby to embellish t-shirts. Those are the cutest thing. I’ve got the cutter and dies, but not a little girl to embelish shirts for… maybe I could tell my boys the birds are vultures…
The picture on the top middle, that looks like a cape. Is there a pattern for that I can purchase? It’s too cute!
Hi Kendra, Thanks so much! It’s actually a coat and I don’t have a pattern out for that one yet. So sorry, but more patterns will be released soon!! Have a great day, Lindsay
