I just love coordinating sister looks where they are matching, but not exactly the same. Mom found this fabric at her local Joann Fabric store and thought it just shouted summer picnic and I couldn’t agree more.
Matilda’s dress is so sweet with the pleated top and the button detail across the front. Her dress has three medium sized buttons in the back and has the plaid accent at the bottom. I’ve been kind of into the square neck-line lately and I think the pleated top just makes the dress!
These are just too cute for words!
Those dresses are adorable and great pics of your sweet girls!
What pretty little dresses! Love the pics of the girls — so cute!
Very adorable! My grandma always sewed for me when I was growing up. I loved to wear the things she made for me!
Those dresses are just adorable. And the pictures? OMG Priceless. I just adore the cheesy little grin on your youngest daughter. Too cute. The picture of the older one in front of the doorway talking about the pockets is just beautiful. I LOVE that picture. I’ve been checking out some cherry fabric myself lately. I love how it makes me feel and of course, with cherries being my absolute favorite fruit that could be part of the reason I love it so much too. LOL
OMG those are the cutest dresses I have seen in a long time!! And your daughters are absolutely adorable… so glad they like dressing alike… enjoy while you can!
They are darling! What beautiful dresses too.
Very cute!
Sweet little sisters, and I love Grandma’s dresses! Cute and summery!
They seem like the closest of friends! So sweet!
Beautiful dresses, and oh so summery!
adorable dresses! i think the smallest dress may be an oliver+s pattern. do u know what pattern was used for your oldest daughter?
OMG, how cute!!!!!!!!!!!! Girls & dresses.
Oh they are the most adorable dresses! I love the fabric and all of the details! I was going to also say its neat that they “match” but are still wearing different dresses…and then as I was reading you said that exact same thing!
Yaaa to grandma for the awesome gifts! Clearly the girls love them! (nice photo shoot too!)
God Bless,
Cathy
WOW!!!! Love the dresses! I soooo want one for myself! And your girls look so cute in there new dresses!
The dresses are absolutely lovely! And I don’t think I ever realized how close in age your girls were! I have two girls, 15 months apart, now 2.5 and 15 months. Haven’t met many parents with kids that close in age so it’s fun to ‘know’ another one!
Really sweet pictures. I love to see them hugging because I love seeing my girls like that. They are so often competing or pulling hair that those calm, sweet moments are precious!
Sweet dresses lovely little girls. ♥♥♥
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I have had cherry fabric for *ever* and have not known which fabric to pair it with for a dress for my little girl. LOVE the gingham… might need a trip to our fabric shop this week 🙂 What adorable kids, you can see they love each other 🙂
absolutely adorable!
Someone above asked what pattern the larger dress was, and I could be wrong, but it looks a lot like this one from McCall’s… http://mccallpattern.mccall.com/m5613-products-8904.php?page_id=487
Yes, the larger dress for Miss Savannah is McCalls M5613-size 4T and Miss Matilda’s is Kwik Sew 3775-2T. Hope that helps!
Hi Lindsay,
Love the dresses. Just gorgeous.
Beautiful photo’s too. You could be part of the mammarazzi.
Finding rocks and such in your daughters pockets?
Wait till your baby boy starts collecting.
With my boys I have finds snails, lizards, and stink bugs in their pockets.
Have a great week.
So cute! I’m in the process of trying to make it for my granddaughter this! I’m stuck 🙁 do you have a tutorial?
