“The Paper Doll Dress” is entirely different from the last six dresses I entered in the challenge, but in all honesty, this one is much more my style. I just love little girls in classic dresses and consider myself to have very classic style. Granted, they aren’t necessarily practical for everyday playing around on the playground, but oh, they just look SO sweet!
So for my final challenge dress I used the “Paper Doll Dress Pattern” from Lil Blue Boo.
I decided to make this dress using some of the fabrics I will be using in my etsy shop and I love how it turned out (if I do say so myself).
- All pictures of the challenge dresses were taken by Megan Abelard Photography. More of her work can be seen on her website: http://www.meganabelard.com
- The Paper Doll Dress is a very well-written and easy to follow sewing pattern. It sews up quickly relative to many other sewing patterns I have used before. Click here to find out more information.
OH MY HEAVENS!!!! You have been busy! All seven of those dresses are adorable. I love the tutu dress with the ruffle butt!!! The rockstar dress rocks! I could say something awesome about each one! Great job! You totally should be proud!
All your dresses were fabulous! I absolutely LOVE the Paper Doll Dress and your choice of fabrics! Really nice work!
This is so cute! I heart the fabrics you’ve chosen and think that the yo-yo and teeny pockets are just the right touches! =-D
This is really really cute. You make me want to try making it–except I’m scared of buttonholes!
