Prim and Proper Fabric Collection and Bundle Box

Prim and Proper Fabric by Lindsay Wilkes from The Cottage Mama for Penny Rose Fabrics / Riley Blake Designs

I’m excited to announce my 2nd fabric collection with Riley Blake Designs / Penny Rose Fabrics. My Prim & Proper collection will begin shipping to stores in August and I cannot wait to see what you all create with these fabrics! This collection is being released under the vintage division of Riley Blake Designs called Penny Rose Fabrics and I think it’s really fitting seeing as though I was inspired by several different vintage feedsacks to create this collection. You may have seen some sneak peeks over in The Cottage Mama Instagram, but today I’ve got the full collection to share with you.

There are three different colorways in the Prim & Proper collection with a total of 21 prints in all. The three colorways are aqua, pink and purple. I wanted to create a collection that was feminine, vintage and floral, but had a slightly deeper tone to be used for fall projects or back-to-school. I’m really happy with how the color palette turned out. Trust me when I say that the images don’t do the fabrics justice…….the colors are SO pretty in person. Here is a peek inside the story board (which is the large brochure shown to buyers at quilt market):

I’m most excited about the border print that is included in this collection. It is a double sided border and is absolutely perfect for skirts and clothing!

So as many of you know, I have been offering some bundle boxes from time to time and my next bundle box is going to be all about Prim & Proper fabric!

You are going to love this box. The fabric prints are absolutely gorgeous and the trims I’ve selected coordinate perfectly. This box would make the most adorable Back-to-School and Fall sewing projects.

What is The Cottage Mama Bundle Box?
The Cottage Mama Bundle Boxes are hand-selected fabrics, trims, buttons, etc. all chosen by me, Lindsay Wilkes, owner of The Cottage Mama. They are fabrics and trims that I would use to create a special garment for a child.

These bundle boxes are not specific to one certain pattern, but they can be used for a wide variety. This will also depend on what size garment you are making as well. If you are making a baby sized item, you may have enough for a coordinating sibling outfit as well. When I select these fabrics I always have clothing in mind, but you could also use these boxes for other sewing projects such as bags, accessories, home decor and quilting. The options are endless.

What is included in The Cottage Mama Bundle Box?
3-4 yards of coordinating designer quilting cotton fabric
3-4 yards of coordinating trims
Matching buttons
Coordinating Thread
1 fun surprise notion (could be scissors, a cute pin holder, a little pin cushion, metal tin……you never know!)

Please select the colorway that you would like to purchase. Your choices are Aqua, Pink or Purple.

Can I purchase more than one box?
Yes, you may purchase more than one box, but they will be shipped separately. Each Bundle Box is packaged individually, so shipping cannot be combined.

When will I receive my bundle box?
Boxes will ship Early / Mid-August. Prim & Proper is a brand new fabric collection that I designed and should ship in August. If I receive the shipment early, you will receive your box early!

You can order your Prim & Proper Bundle Boxes by clicking HERE!

Make sure you get your order in as soon as possible as there are a limited quantity of bundle boxes available in each colorway.

And if you have a local quilt shop that you like to visit, please check with them and make sure they are planning to carry the Prim & Proper collection. That way you’ll be able to pick up even more coordinating prints.

Thanks so much for reading and until next time…….

Happy Sewing
