New Adelaide Bubble Romper and Dress Pattern!

It’s been a good while since I released any new The Cottage Mama Sewing Patterns, but I’m happy to announce that yesterday I released two brand new patterns!

I call these two patterns the Adelaide patterns since they coordinate with one another. One is the Adelaide Bubble Romper (Size 3M – Size 4T) and the other pattern is the Adelaide Dress Pattern (Size 6M – 12 Years). These are being offered as separate patterns, but they make absolutely adorable coordinating sibling outfits. I can definitely see some sweet Easter photos in both of these patterns.

First up is the Adelaide Romper Pattern (Size 3M – Size 4T). Here is Miss Josephine modeling the size 2T. I think this pattern is absolutely precious. I wanted to create a bubble romper that was still classic and refined. I’ve seen a lot of ruffled rompers out there, but nothing that was more simply sweet.

Pattern Description: The Adelaide Bubble Romper is the perfect spring, summer essential for your little one. The romper features front pleats, a peter-pan style collar, puff sleeves and a sweet bow or side button tabs. The Adelaide Bubble Romper also includes a button leg closure for easy diaper changes.

The Adelaide Bubble Romper was designed for intermediate sewists. This pattern features techniques such as piping, setting in sleeves, pleats, continuous placket and buttonholes. This classic bubble style romper is sure to become a family heirloom.

How adorable are those chunky little thighs in this romper? I could just eat them up!

There are two different options included in the romper pattern. View A includes a sash that is inset into the front pleats and ties in the back and then View B has side button tabs.

This romper was design for girls with the gathered sleeves, but you could certainly modify the pattern to suit a little boy.

The Adelaide Dress is the perfect sister pattern with the Adelaide Romper and yes, you read that correctly……this pattern goes up to size 12!

Pattern Description: The Adelaide Dress is the perfect classic, feminine dress for your little one. The dress features front pleats, a peter-pan style collar, puff sleeves and a sweet bow sash. The Adelaide Dress is the perfect big sister compliment to the Adelaide Bubble Romper pattern also available from The Cottage Mama.

The Adelaide Dress was designed for intermediate sewists. This pattern features techniques such as piping, setting in sleeves, pleats, bias binding and buttonholes. This classic style dress is sure to become a family heirloom.

Dress Pattern includes size 6 Month through 12 Years.

I love the sweet details in the Adelaide patterns including the front pleats with the piping. You can get as fancy or more simple as you would like with this pattern!
