The New The Cottage Mama Website and Sale

If you are reading this blog post in a reader or via email, you may not have even noticed that The Cottage Mama has a brand new website! This site has been a long time in the making. I wanted to keep everything all in one place……the blog, the shop, the book, etc. And I wanted it to be easier to navigate and find exactly what you are looking for every time you visit. So from this point forward the blog will no longer be called The Cottage Home, but will be just like everything else…..The Cottage Mama. Click here to come check out the new website!

Over on the blog, we now have some easy-to-navigate drop down menus to make it easier to find different project tutorials, recipes based on categories, sewing creations from The Cottage Mama and just general info. There is also a place for you to sign up for the monthly newsletter that will have exclusive discount codes and patterns for newsletter subscribers only. A newsletter subscriber is different than an email subscriber, so if you’re not signed up, make sure you head over and sign up so you don’t miss out. Also, all the social media buttons and search bar is up at the top so that they are easy to locate.

Over in the shop, you can purchase sewing patterns (in PDF and paper format). PDF’s are available for instant download and paper patterns will be mailed to your house. You can checkout using your credit card or Paypal through a secure payment gateway.

You can also pre-order an autographed copy of my new book, ‘Sew Classic Clothes for Girls: 20 Girls’ Dresses, Outfits and Accessories from The Cottage Mama‘ that will be out in October 2013. You can take a sneak peek inside the book with lots of pictures of some of the many, many different garment patterns in the book. And finally, The Cottage Mama is now going to start offering some sewing kits to go along with the different sewing patterns. We have the first one available in very limited supply. With the kit you receive all the fabrics, trims and buttons needed to complete the garment (pattern is sold separately). We have also implemented bundle pricing on the site, meaning if you purchase a certain number of patterns you get a certain percentage off your purchase (which automatically applies to your cart without a discount code). And because I am SO excited about the new website, I am going to be offering a 10% discount on all patterns through this Sunday, September 1, 2013 with the promo code: NEWWEBSITE.
