Quit in a Day has everything you need to make a quilt – books, patterns, free block patterns, notions, fabrics, rulers and videos! Quilt in a Day was founded in 1975 by “Hall of Fame” quilter, Eleanor Burns. Through out her career, Eleanor has published over 100 ‘How-to’ quilt books, developed an Eleanor Burns Signature Pattern Collection and designed a variety of specialty rules all produced to aid the quilter in successfully and easily completing their quilt. Her Quilt in a Day TV series began airing on PBS and is still broadcasting nationwide and abroad, even teaching in Japan.”

  12. One of my favorite things about their store is that I can add things easily to a wishlist and save it on their site. 20. They have the BEST flying geese rulers ever! I’ll never make flying geese any other way!

  21. I like their wide selection of fabric and supplies as well as the free patterns! aesprouse at gmail dot com

  23. I like the videos, and have learned a lot from them!

  24. I love that they sell a little bit of everything!

  25. I really like the videos. And the clearance fabric section. 😀

  26. I am familiar with Eleanor Burns and her wonderful books but had no clue about the website! LOVE the free patterns!

  30. I love the videos. I want to learn to quilt, and to be able to see all the tricks to make it easy and look great are so helpful.

  31. Love the free patterns at Quilt in a Day, as well as the great prices for quilting fabric. Thanks for the chance to win.

  32. How do I like thee, let me count the ways: There are the free patterns, recipes, biography. Then there are videos, and finally the shop. Oh, the shop!!! How I would love to have the money to spend more time in the shop. I stopped after I realised that I couldn’t afford even half of what I was adding to my mental wishlist.
    Thanks for hosting the giveaway.

  33. I love the videos but so much to look at! Free patterns, oh my!

  34. I love the videos and the SALE fabrics! Thanks for the giveaway!

  35. All the fabric is great but the videos are wonderful. I will be back to watch more of them.
    Thanks,
    Erin

  36. I love the clearance fabric! There is so much to choose from!

  37. Like almost everybody, I love the sales! I also enoyed looking at the Community Forum. Great for when I have questions!

  38. I can’t believe the fabric selection and prices!!!! Thanks for giving me another great source!

  39. Their prices look very reasonable and I like that the website is easy to find things.

  40. Nifty. I like their red and green fat quarter pack.

  41. I love so many things at Quilt in a Day but I fell instantly in love with the little red iron by Kandi. How cute is that?

  42. My first quilt was Card Trick from Quilt in a Day. I own several of her books as well. I really like that the books are so clear and easy to read and follow. I like that her site is so easy to navigate whether you are shopping for free patterns, books, or fabric.

  43. I love the videos and patterns! What a great collection!

  44. My fave thing about their website is when I’m viewing several fabrics on a page, I can hover over a fabric and see it enlarged and, from that same page, can also choose to view the entire line.

  45. I love the video and great price fabrics 🙂

  46. I like: fabric frenzy, lots of notions to support E’s techniques, and the books. IF I had other than dial-up, would be watching videos right now. I already receive the QID newsletters and regularly check out E’s FB page too. We lost our RFD channel on satellite so no longer see Eleanor on Thursdays, and we miss it.

  47. My favorite thing is that they have a lot of “How to” information! I’m just starting my first EVER quilt, and doing it via quilt block kits from Joanns, so I’m teaching myself. So far, the piecing is going well, but when I get further along I’m going to need some How-To info. I like that you can get that and the fabric in one place! Good luck all!

  48. Oh it is so hard to choose but I think my favorite think is that if I need help, I could find the answer to most any question I have. I just love the site. It is so fun to browse.

    Thank you

  49. It is hard to pick just one thing, I love going through the notions section. I am addicted to rulers!

  50. Noticed the Paducah banner on the bottom of the page and had to click on that and do some research. Loving that their newest location is close to my hometown. 🙂

  51. I am loving all the yummy layer cakes and jelly rolls – I can see so many quilts here!

  52. i love their fabric and their classes

  53. I’d never been on this site and I will love the videos. Thank you!

  54. I often visit the Quilt in a Day website. The thing I enjoy most is how user friendly it is. You can easily locate whatever you are looking for whether it is a specific pattern/video, fabric, free quilt block patterns, or notions. It’s no surprise that Eleanor was installed into the Quilter’s Hall of Frame this year. She has lead the way for thousands of quilters to find easier methods to achieve excellent results.

  55. The fabric selection is the best thing about the place!

  56. I think my favorite thing is the large selection in the shop and the prices are pretty reasonable!

  57. Love Eleanor! Their site is really easy to use. Love there are teaching videos and fabric! There is also a “community” that you can chat with others about different sewing topics. There’s also free patterns.

Thank you and Quilt in a Day for a great giveaway and a chance to win. Congratulations on your new sponsor!

I love getting a collection in the color ways that I want. Her patterns are good to; easy to make but look more complicated and pretty.
